Birchbox...............

Birchbox has taken over the Joliebox and made its first UK launch January 2013, now if you don't know what Birchbox is its a monthly subscription beauty box you sign up online fill out a beauty profile and you will then receive a box of beauty samples every month based on your beauty profile.

Its a great way to try out multiple products before you buy. In each box you receive 4 to 5 beauty samples plus a beauty and lifestyle extra. In total this month i received 7 samples.

I didn't sign up to this box until late March which did qualify me for the March Birchbox and this is what i received.....

Laura Geller Inkwell waterproof gel liner - Full Size £24.50
MoltonBrown Valbonne Fragrance - Full Size £65
Nick Chavez Beverley Hills Plump N' Thick leave - In thickening mist - Full Size £13.90
La Sultane De Saba Body Lotion With Argon Oil - Full Size £26.50
Yu - Be Moisturising Skin Cream - Full Size £19.50

Beauty Extra:
Sanctuary 30 day Thermal Transformation Mask - Full Size £27.50

Lifestyle Extra:
Lindt Lindor heart tin filled with chocolate truffles - Full Size £2.99

I haven't had a chance to try everything in the box but I will do a quick review on what I have tried.

I was excited to receive the Laura Geller Gel liner the great thing about this is the brush applicator is located in the lid, this glides on the lid beautifully so soft and creamy however i thought the colour pay off could have been better didn't seem opaque on the lid.

I'm not a huge fan perfume samples as I find there is alot I don't like, I couldn't have been more wrong about this fragrance I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! The description states It has notes of bergamot, dewy orange flower, rose, vetiver and leather.

Nick Chavez leave in thickener I really found this did make a difference on my hair. I have fine limp hair and struggle with most products as i find they just weigh my hair down but i did notice a difference after using this.

Yu - Be Moisturising skin cream, I haven't really tried this for its moisturising purposes as the smell put me off so unsure.

La Sultane Body Lotion I haven't used this properly yet but it smells lovely.

Sanctuary Thermal Mask I haven't tried this out yet I'm waiting for the perfect girly night in to try out this baby!

Lindt Lindor Chocolate who doesn't love Chocolate!!!!

Overall I am pleased with this box and looking forward to the next one....

Nivea lip butter review.....

I purchased a Nivea lip butter when they first came out but could only get the Raspberry scented one whereas the scent is nice (reminds me of Raspberry Fruitella's) you must be careful not too layer it on too thick as the lip butter has a sheer light pink finish to it can look a little odd when too much has been applied which is easily done as they are so soft and creamy if you press to hard you get loads of product.

However I recently went to my local Boots and noticed they had the Vanilla and Macadamia Lip butter in stock and this one is just heavenly!! I am so in love with it, its so soft creamy and and glides on beautifully. The formula of the Raspberry one is exactly the same but the Raspberry one has a tinted finish, they also do a Caramel one which I have not yet tried.

I would highly recommend the Nivea lip butter to anyone they are so moisturising and keep your lips feeling moisturised for a long while after application.

If interested you can purchase them here.

Finally feels like spring....

The sun is shining and it's starting to get warmer!!

I know a lot of places in the UK have had quite a bit of snow lately as I live on the coast luckily we haven't had any!

Finally I can start dusting off my Spring/Summer wardrobe, and I can put my little Evie bear in some of her gorgeous Spring outfits (I was starting to worry she would never be able to wear them).

Hopefully this is a sign of the warmer weather to come, I feel like I've been cooped up for ages!

Herbalife update....

No weight loss this week ( sad face) I stayed the same although I did loose inches yay ( happy face)!

I did have more carbs than usual felt a little ill this week so allowed myself that little extra. As long as I don't gain weight I'm happy.

I know this will be a long journey just looking forward to the end result.

Fingers crossed for more weight loss next week, but if I keep loosing the Inches I will be one happy lady!

E.L.F Baked Blush and Baked Bronzer review......

I have quite a few of E.L.F's (Eyes Lips Face)  products in my make up collection with them being so cheap it would be rude not to.

Now the quality of the products do vary there are a few I would not re-purchase, I think with some of the products it is a case of you get what you pay for.

The same cannot be said for the Baked Bronzer and Baked Blushes I think they are fabulous especially when you take the price into consideration at only £3.75 they are a steal.

Don't be fooled by the packaging which is very basic as the product is no reflection. I will start with the bronzer there are three shades to choose from, I have the lightest shade St Lucia its a nice coffee colour with a gold undertone as I am quite fair and slightly afraid of dark bronzers but this shade is fine for me it would probably be to light for anyone with a medium complexion, It has a shimmery finish perfect for that sun kissed look. This will definitely be my go to blusher for spring and summer.

Onto the blush the packaging is the same as the bronzer but like I said don't be fooled, there are four colours in total I purchased the colour Peachy Cheeky, which is a gorgeous peachy colour with plum and gold undertones and again it has a shimmery finish, tread lightly with this as they are very pigmented and you don't want to walk out looking like a disco ball. Used sparely this colour is beautiful on the face with a light tan it is the perfect colour to see you into the Spring/Summer months.

I would definitely re-purchase both these products although I would maybe go a shade darker on the bronzer for the Summer months just in case the sun wants to make an appearance and I have the chance to get a tan!!

The bronzer can be purchased here. Blush here.
